What is an aesthetic?
An aesthetic is an experience of being moved by a physical object or event. Typical examples might be a beautiful landscape, nice-smelling flowers, delicious food, your favorite song or album, or even a horror movie. The thing that appeals to you in an aesthetic is an aesthetic core. An aesthetic should be something that you enjoy and can come back to regularly without getting bored. If it has these qualities, it probably contains an aesthetic core.
Now that we've defined aesthetics, let's consider what makes them so good!
Aesthetic is just a way to describe something as beautiful in a more conceptual way.

It could be something as simple as a cream-colored sweater next to some fresh flowers. For others, it could be filling their lives with pastel colors or patterns that remind them of home. The aesthetic idea is that there's a certain indescribable feeling behind everything; even if someone can't explain why they like something in one word or even ten words, they still know what speaks to them and their heart. Aesthetic is more than just an appearance—it's felt internally.
In other words, aesthetically pleasing things have an inner beauty; rather than being described by physical appearance alone (which is the case with most outwardly defined ideas of beauty), it has more meaning behind their looks.
Even without the specific features, your aesthetic core will remain the same.
How do you know if something is aesthetic? This is what makes aesthetics more than just another word for beautiful.
